Started with an extraordinary dream — a society that is educated and healthy.
Sandeep Pandey
Founder & Chairman
After retiring from the Indian Navy, Sandeep began with a small group to make people aware of society's burning problems. Today, the Sandesh Foundation family has taken a big form — beyond gender, class, religion, politics and caste.
Sandesh Foundation is a non-religious, non-profit, public service organization that carries a simple sandesh — a message — of health, education and environment. We work where natural resources and human dignity have turned from assets into liabilities, and we work to change that.
Our objective is to reduce poverty and social evils, fight lack of education and child labour, improve public health, support the needy, enable rural development, protect the environment and run livelihood programmes — raising these issues and correcting them, on the ground, every day.

Helping one person might not change the whole world, but it could change the world for one person.
— The Sandesh belief
"When many people stayed in their homes, Sandesh Foundation was distributing food and other necessary things to help others in this COVID-19 pandemic. I am very impressed with the team's intention and way of doing social work — after completing my studies, I will definitely join."
— A college student & future volunteer
कार्य क्षेत्र · Our Work
Six ways we carry the message to the ground.
01 · शिक्षा
Education for Child
Each child deserves an education, yet millions cannot attend school because of poverty. We support children with quality education, books and extra-curricular activities — raising their standard of living and leading them to a brighter future.
02 · स्वास्थ्य
Health Care Program
Health camps, immunization and polio vaccination drives, and general check-ups for communities that rarely see a doctor.
03 · पर्यावरण
Clean Environment
Tree plantation drives, waste management and recycling — restoring the land, water and forests that sustain us.
04 · महिला सशक्तिकरण
Women Empowerment
Awareness programmes on gender equality, education for women, and support toward skills and self-reliance.
05 · वस्त्र दान
Cloth Donation
Clothing donation drives that bring dignity to the needy while giving old clothes a second life through recycling.
06 · राहत
Disaster & Pandemic Relief
When many stayed home during the COVID-19 pandemic, our volunteers were out on the streets — distributing food and essential supplies to those who needed them most. We stay ready for the next emergency.

स्वयंसेवा · Volunteer
Become a Sandesh change agent.
We want everyone to take active involvement as a volunteer — because it is the main door to helping the needy person, to supporting those who live below the bottom line of life.
Teach at learning centres or join weekend health camps
Plant trees, run cloth-donation and cleanliness drives
Help with relief work when the next emergency comes
"We can't help everyone, but everyone can help someone."
